Trache STEPS Workshop

DESCRIPTION
The Trache STEPS Workshop is a multi-disciplinary course for Percutaneous Tracheostomy insertion, management and troubleshooting.
This unique one-day workshop will comprise of small group interactive discussions, hands-on practical workshops and immersive high-fidelity simulation.

OBJECTIVES
The program aims to enhance the skills in inserting, managing and troubleshooting patients with percutaneous tracheostomy.

TOPICS

  • Insertion of Percutaneous Tracheostomy

  • Anaesthesia for Percutaneous Tracheostomy

  • Care of New and Old Tracheostomy

  • Troubleshooting anticipated and unanticipated complications

Workshop size limited to 20 (12-15 doctors and 5-8 nurses). We will hold 5 wait-list positions in case of cancellations. Registrations will close when places have been filled.

CATERING
Lunch, morning and afternoon tea will be provided. Please notify us of any dietary requirements on registration.
