Dr Rafidah Atan, MBBS (Malaya), M.Anaes (Malaya), FANZCA, PhD, EDIC, GradCertClinSim, GradCertHighEd
Dr Rafidah Atan is Associate Professor (Practice) and Intensivist at Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia. She is a full-time academic who also serves as a visiting intensivist in Hospital Sultanah Aminah and Gleneagles Medini Hospital in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
Rafidah completed her PhD in January 2018 on the topic of cytokine removal using extracorporeal devices, specifically the high cut-off membrane.
Her other areas of interests, for which she regularly conducts talks and workshops on include the use of simulation for crisis management training, patient safety education and work-life balance for career women.
Rafidah resides in Malaysia with her husband and four children.
