Manoj practises as an Intensive Care Physician at Bankstown Hospital in Sydney and is the lead for the research program.
His postgraduate qualifications include Fellowship of both the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom and Australia and Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine.
Research interests include large scale clinical observational and randomised trials. His main area of research interest is the effect of induced changes in body temperature on clinical patient-centred outcomes after acute brain injury; this work is supported by National Health and Medical Research Council Funding in Australia. He has received over $8.5 Million in research funding and published over 50 scientific manuscripts.
Further specific areas of research interest include thermoregulation and sepsis, and a new program of work on the relationship between a healthy workplace and clinical effectiveness.
Manoj is the Treasurer for the ANZICS Clinical Trials Group.
