Lee-anne Chapple

Dr Lee-anne Chapple is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with experience in clinical dietetics, tertiary-education, and research. She was awarded her PhD in July 2017 through the University of Adelaide, which explored nutrition in survivors of critical illness, in particular nutritional intake and muscle wasting in patients admitted to intensive care with a traumatic brain injury.

 Lee-anne is currently a post-doctoral fellow in the Intensive Care Research Unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital where she is researching strategies to better feed critically ill patients to prevent ICU-acquired weakness and improve their long-term functional outcomes and quality of life.
