Alexis Poole is a PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide in the Discipline of Acute Care Medicine. Research Manager at DonateLife South Australia, and Project Manager at University of Adelaide. Has previously been Project Officer on the TARGET Nutrition study, and Research Manager at the Royal Adelaide Hospital Intensive Care Unit.
Mr Poole has been working in clinical research since 2009 and has extensive experience in the management of clinical trials. He is a member of several Management Committees for ANZICS-CTG endorsed clinical trials including REVISE and LUCID. Mr Poole has been invited to present at local and national symposiums on critical care. His research interest includes nutrition delivery, blood glucose management in critically ill patients, and end of life care.
Mr Poole is also an Affiliate Lecturer in the Discipline of Acute Care at the University of Adelaide.
